Aging in place in the home I love is now more feasible thanks to Focused K9’s service training. From obedience and proper public behavior to specialized skills of service, Focused K9’s patiently modified techniques to match my own limitations and the Bup’s temperament, making the learning process Fun. The Bup helps with balance, falls and getting up from chairs, opens cabinets, brings an emergency bag and cell phone and hands me items that slip through my fingers. Service dog training has given me a gift of continued possibilities at home, in public and a gift of reassurance for my family.
